You apply for a clerical job. As part of the application instructions, you are required to sign up with a free service in order to receive consideration. For instance, a recent scam we uncovered said: "You must have an account with Paypal. All payments will be handled with Paypal. This will help us save on check printing and other administrative costs, and it will benefit our contractors, as they will be able to receive payment for services rendered within 24 hours. If you do not have a Paypal account, sign up using this link…."

The Scam

Promoters of bogus medical billing offers will promise that you can earn a substantial income working full- or part-time. For your investment of $1,000 to $8,000, a promoter will promise software, training and technical support.

Cold Hard Truth

These advertisements are not offering real work at home jobs. Although they typically do not involve paying a fee, you should be aware that they will not lead to a home based job offer.
